Before You Send analyzes messages on your Mac. Message text and tone results are not sent to Makepad or to an AI service. The app has no account, advertising, app analytics, or message history.

Copy places your message on the macOS clipboard. Other apps and any system clipboard synchronization you enable may access it.

English is included. Optional language-model downloads connect to Hugging Face and its delivery providers, which receive network and request information such as your IP address, approximate location, device information, and requested files. Their privacy policy permits retention for service operation, security, and analytics. Messages are never included in those requests. See Hugging Face’s privacy policy.

Downloaded models remain in the app’s local container. The app does not intentionally save message text; Clear removes the current editor contents. macOS may manage memory, crash reports, and clipboard data independently.
